I'm sort of interested in learning how to re-upholster furniture. I like the idea of getting a cool mid-century couch (think clean lines, usually ugly fabric) and giving it new life. I did some browsing in the ksl classifieds today, and here are the ones that I think would fit the bill:
The second one doesn't even have particularly bad fabric. Score.
ReplyDeleteI am always on the lookout for a midcentury couch - have seen some near misses. But I also don't have the dough to get it reupholstered yet and I do not delude myself that I am capable of such a feat on my own. Anyway WHEN you visit me we could go couch hunting, ya?
Um, YES! I'll post a link to a local blog that I stalk. She recently reupholstered her couch, and did it by taking a class on reupholstery. She even made a time lapse video that is super cool. Going...right...now...to post the link.
